NanoFix is a fixative, which is a hardener composed of nanoparticles able to penetrate the material up to 20 mm.
The nanoparticles connect chemically with the surface and interconnect with each other, improving thus the mechanical properties of the surfaces of worn or deteriorated, and to increase the resistance of the substrate.

The nanoparticles also do not seal the pores but support the walls or the cracks in the substrate are worn, keeping the original look.
Also the water vapor permeability and the porosity of the surfaces treated with this fixative consolidane remain unchanged.

 

Application

Before applying the product, the powder and the parts that are not cohesive to the surface to be treated must be removed.
The surface must be dry and clean before application.
The fixative, a consolidating agent is an aqueous suspension and is applied undiluted with a brush, roller or spray gun airless.
In the case of very absorbing surfaces or damaged it is recommended that you reapply a second coat after 15 minutes.
The drying time of the product is 30 minutes, depending on the level of relative humidity and temperature.
The theoretical output of this primer hardener: 6-8 m2/L depends strongly on the absorption properties of the surface to be treated.

  • Resistance to traction (Ultrasound Method to Speed - stone sample): treated with the fixative, the consolidating 3,46 MPa, which is not treated a 2.81 MPa
  • Dynamic modulus of elasticity (Ultrasound Method to Speed - stone sample): the treaty with NanoFix Is 4.5 GPa, which is not treated with 1.6 GPa
  • The water capillary coefficient of determination (sample gypsum ISO EN480-5 after the test, 24h): treated with NanoFix 0,018 g/mm2, not treated with 0.032 g/mm2
  • Steam permeability (sample gypsum): the treaty, the fixative consolidating 0,0003 g.m2 .h-1, which is not treated 0,0003 g.m2 .h-1

The product is not considered an oxidizer
