SILMIX

SilMix is a protective surface hardener and anti-infiltration silicate in an aqueous emulsion.
The product is particularly indicated for the consolidation of surfaces and to realize the treatment, protective anti-dust and anti-wear in the floors.
SilMix is able to render the treated surface more resistant to abrasion, increasing resistance up to 10 times.

The protective surface hardener and anti infiltration also increases up to 4 times the mechanical strength.
Thanks to its special composition allows to achieve an effective action of combining, and make it extremely homogeneous absorption of the support.

Application

The product is used as an additive in the mixture by adding 200 ml of SilMix to the mixing water for 25 kg of dry mix, in order to obtain a surface that can be walked on 12 hours and veicolabile to 48 hours.
Climatic conditions can change the timing of the provision of the consolidating anti-infiltration.
SilMix can be also applied to the surface using a brush or spray at low pressure, taking care to avoid the formation of stagnant or pellicolazioni surface.
The support goes to saturate evenly with one or two hands of the product, depending on the degree of absorption of the treated support.
Before you apply the firming anti-infiltration surface must be clean and dry.
The ideal temperature for product application is between 5°C and 30°C.
It is recommended that you do not use SilMix in conditions of strong heat or frost, and protect from the rain on the treated surface for at least 8 – 12 hours.
It is good to protect with a sheet of polyethylene or other material the party to whom the product is not intended.
The amount of consolidating anti-infiltration to be used varies from 100 to 250 ml for 25 kg of dry mix (water in the mixture is excluded from the count) on the basis of the porosity of the mixture.
