TERMOCOVER is a special coating to the thickness of the fiber-reinforced heat-reflective resin base, acrilsilossaniche and special fillers, micro - and nano - sized useful to reduce the overheating of the walls in the summer phase, and to limit the dispersion of the thermal in the winter phase.

In the winter, limiting the heat loss: Termocover increases the Thermal Resistance of the walls of 0.99 m2K/W if applied individually, 1.35 m2K/W in the loop with the bottom of the uniform filler UNIFORMANT R+*.

In the summer, TERMOCOVER significantly reduces the surface temperatures of the façades, reducing the heat input and increasing the thermal lag of the walls of an hour (EN ISO 13786:2007). The interiors remain cooler by limiting the use of cooling systems.

TERMOCOVER ensures a good protection against the absorption of rain water and has a high permeability to water vapour. The film is also protected from the attack of algae and mildew thanks to special fillers new generation of gradual release.

TERMOCOVER is colorable in more than 10,000 shades made with pigmentation IR Reflective: the pigment along with the coating, it is able to reflect the heat, guaranteeing excellent performance also in the case of dark colours.

TERMOCOVER is available in three sizes: 1 - 1,2 - 1,5 mm

*The thermal performance of Termocover and Uniformant R+ were determined by UNI EN 1934:2000 "thermal Performance of buildings - Determination of thermal resistance by means of the method of the hot chamber with flow meter - Masonry", regulations foreseen by current legislation in order to correct thermal characterization of the materials depart from the insulation subject to CE marking

Features

  • Reduction in summer-time overheating of the walls and of the internal environment: less use of cooling systems
  • Improvement of the Thermal Resistance of the walls: reduction in heat loss in the winter
  • Reduction in CO2 emissions
  • Reduction of urban heat islands
  • Protection of the facade from water absorption
  • Protection of the façades from the formation of algae and mould
  • Best comfort throughout the year: homes warmer in winter, cooler in the summer

Application

The product is easy to apply and ready to use.
In case you need to, you can dilute the plaster, heat-reflecting with a little water to achieve the consistency you want, stirring slowly with a mechanical stirrer, the product in its container.
The application of TermoCover is sufficient to coat the product onto the surface with a spatula made of metal, making sure to distribute it evenly.
Before the plaster thermoresistant beginning to dry out on the surface, it should be finished by running in a circular motion with a spatula or a trowel made of plastic to achieve the desired result.
If the surface to be treated is very large, it is good to perform the work using an appropriate number of people, always working wet on wet, in order to avoid shadows in the zones of recovery.
The work will be completed using the same batch of plaster, heat-reflecting, as it is not recommended to apply different batches of plaster reflecting on the same surface, so that there may be small differences in the color shades.
It is recommended to finish a wall in plaster, heat reflective belonging to the same batch, and resumes with the next batch on the wall to the corner.
If you use different batches of TermoCover you can rimescolarle between them to get a uniform colour.
After use the tools and equipment should be washed immediately with water.

Important Notes

The ideal temperature for product application is between +5°C and +35°C with relative humidity less than 75%.
The plaster will heat reflective should not be applied in conditions of direct sun or strong wind.
If the support has surface condensation, efflorescence, or moisture it is necessary to reform before proceeding with TermoCover.
After the application the support must be protected from rain and humidity for at least 48-96 hours so as to avoid the risk of leaching, and so achieve the complete drying of the plaster, heat-reflecting, and the regular polymerization, which is accomplished in the span of 8-10 days.
If during this time you experience rain, high humidity, fog or condensation surface, which are very frequent in the autumn, may form drips translucent (lumacature).
This phenomenon does not affect the quality of TermoCover and is easily removed with a jet washing or a heavy rain.
