Wood in the rough. Prepare the support with abrasive paper grit 150. Clean
the surface from the dust of sanding and apply 2-3 coats of the product.
Wood stained/impregnated. You can apply RC1x30 on wood treated with paint or varnish to low-solid residue. Once you clean the surface,
you can lightly sand with abrasive paper or scotch brite. Remove dust and apply 1-2 coats of the product.
Painted wood. Sandpaper with grit 80-150 and bring back the wood in the raw state. Clean the surface and proceed with the impregnation.
In the artefacts exposed to atmospheric agents is sufficient maintenance on the parts that begin to degrade. Sand the structure with the mean grain 180-220, remove dust and apply a coat of the desired color. On parts that are the most degraded, you can apply a second coat. If the artifact is a little exposed to the elements, the operations of retouching and renewal will be less frequent.
